Applications for the 2027 Yukon Prize are now open!
The Yukon Prize is awarded every two years to recognize excellence by a Yukon visual artist, with a $20,000 prize to support the development of their arts practice.
New this year: eligible artist collectives can also apply.
Artists and collectives can submit 4–8 works created within the past 10 years, in any visual arts medium. Applications are reviewed by an independent jury and evaluated on technical expertise, a distinct artistic voice, and a clear sense of intention, whether rooted in tradition, contemporary art, or both.
Find the full application guidelines, eligibility requirements, and online application form at yukonprize.ca/apply.
Applications close November 16, 2026 at 5 PM.
